- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information, including a name and likeness that you are entitled to use, and to keep your information up to date.
- You may only create one personal account. You may not impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- You may close your account at any time from Profile → Account & data → Delete my account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that exploits or endangers minors;
- post content that infringes a third party's intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights, or that doxxes another person;
- use the Service to send spam, chain letters, scams, or unsolicited commercial messages;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, profession, gender, or age;
- attempt to access another user's account or any non-public area of the Service;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk or by automated means without our written permission;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure;
- introduce malware, viruses, or any other harmful code;
- use the Service in violation of export-control, sanctions, or anti-money-laundering laws;
- use the Service to organise activities that are illegal in the relevant jurisdiction.
We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion when these rules are violated.
4. User-generated content and licence
You retain all rights in the content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"), including profile information, activities, photos, messages, and ratings. By submitting Your Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes such as resizing), display, and distribute Your Content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service. This licence ends when Your Content is removed from the Service, except that we may retain copies in backups for the period described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit Your Content and to grant the licence above, and that Your Content does not violate any third party's rights or any law.
5. Activities and offline meetups
Nomad Connect lets users discover and host meetups ("Activities"). You acknowledge and agree that:
- We are not a party to any Activity, are not present at any Activity, and do not screen hosts or participants.
- All Activities, whether organised online or offline, happen at your own risk. You are solely responsible for assessing the suitability and safety of any Activity, person, or place before participating.
- Hosts are responsible for organising their Activities lawfully and safely. Hosts agree to comply with applicable health, safety, venue, and licensing requirements.
- You agree not to hold us liable for the conduct of any user, host, or third party at or in connection with an Activity.
6. Reporting abuse and content moderation
If you encounter content or conduct that violates these Terms, please report it via [support@nomadconnect.app]. We will review reports promptly and may, at our discretion, remove content, warn users, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts.
We will respond to valid intellectual-property infringement notices in accordance with applicable law (including the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act). DMCA notices and counter-notices may be sent to [dmca@nomadconnect.app].
7. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, the rights of other users, or applicable law, or if your use creates risk or possible legal exposure for us. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in-app.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Sections 4 (licence to existing copies), 5 (assumption of risk), 9 (disclaimers), 10 (liability cap), 11 (indemnity), and 12 (governing law), will survive.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY USER, ACTIVITY, OR LOCATION IS SAFE OR LAWFUL.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
